I live in Alberta and have not had any luck in finding this orchid cactus locally, was wondering if you have any information of hobbyist or society in Canada that would be able to put me in contact with some one that could be provide me with information to were I could get a plant or cutting
What a wonderful plant! Garden centres or nurseries specializing in exotic plants may have them. However, it would be a good idea to contact the Cactus and Succulent Society of Alberta. Most societies organize plant sales and/or plant exchanges. The Cactus and Succulent Society of Alberta holds their annual plant sale at the Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton and certainly, they will have some recommended vendors, including online sources.
