Eugenia Topiary

(Question)

If your Eugenia topiary are already planted in the ground do you have to cover them in the winter so they won’t freeze.

(Answer)

Thank you for contacting Toronto Master Gardeners with your question.

Unfortunately the hardiness zones of Eugenia topiary (Eugenia myrtifolia) is 10 or 11. This plant cannot survive our winter but can be grown indoor in a container.
