How do forget-me-nots propagate?

(Question)

Hi master, I have some forget-me-nots flowers in my back yard and I love them. But right now, the flowers are gone. What shall I do with the flower-faded plants? I want them come back next spring. Shall I leave them for seeding?

(Answer)

Thank you for contacting the Toronto Master Gardeners.

Myosotis spp. commonly called Forget Me Knots will freely self seed. We have others that have loved and asked about these plants.
