My poor hellebore!*

(Question)

Purchased a helleborus pink frost at C Blooms. It was so beautiful but is now very sad and droopy. Can it be revived? Should I put it outside until it is warm enough to plant. Please help. Thanks

The hellebore is a perennial and can be planted outdoors now.  You’ll find that the spring weather may revive it.  They’re a very tough plant so if you plant it outdoors soon and keep it from drying out in the summer, it should do fine.

You may want to harden it off first by putting it outside in a sheltered area for longer and longer periods over the next few days.  That will help ensure its survival.
