On Sunday September 4th, my wife and I visited TBG. There is a tree near Annie’s green roof topped straw bale shed in the Demonstration Courtyard that we would like to know the name of. It has ‘arrowhead’ leaves and yellow fruit. Please let me know when you have a chance. With thanks!

To identify a tree we would need to have a photo and more information to use.
In this case the easiest way to get an answer is probably to contact the gardeners who work in the garden and would be familiar with the area you are describing. I am attaching the Toronto Botanical gardens site link for you.
