The North American Native Plant Society (NANPS) 2018 AGM & Social is coming up this coming Saturday October 27th at the Toronto Botanical Garden (777 Lawrence Ave East Toronto Ontario) from 9am – 3:30pm.
Join us to learn more about NANPS, meet other native plant advocates, and congratulate NANPS’ Garden Award winners (presented each year to individuals and organizations working towards the restoration and promotion of native plants).
We will also have the pleasure of a guided walk through nearby Wilket Creek, led by Alan Colley of Toronto Aboriginal Eco Tours.
This year, NANPS will also host the Ontario Nature regional meeting for Lake Ontario North after the business part of the AGM. The Ontario Nature member groups will each speak briefly about their activities and projects.
A light lunch will be provided. Please bring your own cup, water bottle and dish if possible – thank you!
Tickets are free, but please reserve your spot online, as seating is limited. https://nanps2018agmsocial.eventbrite.ca
There will be a donation basket at the event to help us cover costs.
