Where can I buy a Boneset perennial for my garden. I live in Toronto

Boneset (Ageratina sp.) is a member of the Asteraceae family. It is a clump forming perennial which typically grows in moist well-drained soil in sun or part shade. This perennial produces flat topped clusters (corymbs) of small, fluffy, white flowers in late summer-fall making this an excellent addition to any perennial border.

You may wish to consider planting  Ageratina altissima ‘Chocolate’ . This perennial blooms very late in the season, often  starting in late September and has beautiful bronze-purple foliage all season long.

You may wish to refer to our Gardening Guide on Long Blooming Perennials for additional information.

It is the  mandate of the Toronto Master Gardeners that we do not recommend specific landscapers or garden centres. Your local nursery or garden centre should be able to help you find a source for this beautiful late blooming perennial.

Good Luck
