Gardens to Visit in Toronto

(Question)

Hello,
I’m a Master Gardener who will visit Toronto on a Friendship Force exchange the last week in September. Are there gardens you recommend I visit?
Thanks

September is a beautiful time of year to visit the many botanical gardens in and around the Toronto area.

The Toronto Botanical Garden has a number of lovely themed gardens.  You may wish to take a self guided audio tour, a 90 minute guided tour or just explore the gardens on your own.  https://torontobotanicalgarden.ca

The Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) is a major tourist attraction located between Toronto and Niagara Falls. There are 4 distinct formal gardens and trails contained within the 1100 hectares of nature reserve. https://www.rbg.ca/gardensandtrails

After visiting the RBG you may wish to visit the Niagara Parks Botanical Garden and School of Horticulture. The Botanical Garden spreads across almost 100 acres with pathways, plants, ornamental trees and ponds. https://www.infoniagara.com/attractions/botanical_delights/

If you happen to find yourself in Toronto on a rainy day you may wish to explore Allen Gardens Conservatory https://torontobotanicalgarden.ca/get-gardening/public-gardens/allan-gardens/

I hope that you enjoy your time in Toronto exploring the many gardens and attractions the city has to offer.
