What is the best time of year to trim a (swamp?) cedar hedge (in Scarborough)? We would like to trim it in August if possible, but we don’t want to ruin the hedge either.
Cedar hedges can be successfully pruned throughout the year and you will not ruin your hedge by pruning it in August. In fact, some recommend last summer as the best time to prune.
