The first looks sort of like a columbine flower with coral bell leaves. The second spreads nicely and gets white curving spikes, lots of little flowers.
I am going to be selling some of both at a garage sale i am having saturday and I would like to tell people what the are.
The plant that resembles a columbine is Geranium phaeum, or Dusky Cranesbill, one of the many perennial geraniums available, and particularly lovely with its deep red flowers. Your second plant is another perennial, Lysimachia clethroides, which is characterized by its drooping, curved blossoms, and is commonly known as Gooseneck Loosestrife. Both are very worthy additions to anyone’s garden, and should be popular at your garage sale.
