Hybrid hibiscus

(Question)

I looking for hybrid hibiscus from Hidden valley hibiscus or Logees south of the border. Would you be able to help..??

(Answer)

Thank you for contacting Toronto Master Gardeners regarding your search for tropical hibiscus hybrids (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis). While the hybrids in stock at Hidden Valley and Logees are enchantingly beautiful, the importing of plants and plant products is restricted by Canadian legislation to protect the health of our plants and agriculture. This protection works both ways, please see Hidden Valley company policy info under heading: Foreign Orders including Canada.

While we cannot recommend specific businesses, you may find local sources of these beauties through an online search of Canadian companies which either grow their own and/or have the necessary phytosanitary certificates in order to import these plants. You might also find these at your local garden centre as did the author of this reply.
