Japanese maple and small black bugs

I live in downtown Toronto and I have a japanese maple that is just starting to bud. I have noticed that there are tiny black bugs on the buds

The Japanese maples leaf out early and they attract black aphids, not a real big problem. Aphids can be easily removed by spraying your tree with water from your hose. Aphids are usually found underneath the leaf, so spray underneath, as well as the top of the leaves. You will need to repeat the process a few times for complete removal.
