hello I recently came across a statement that seems to be an oxymoron…what is a lilly tree?… is there even such a thing, particularly in relation to asiatic lilies? thanks your response

Despite the name Tree Lilies are actually not trees, instead they are herbaceous plants which die down every year. Tree Lilies are a hybrid cross between Asiatic and Oriental Lilies. These hybrids reach an average height of 4 ‘ however some varieties can reach 5-6 ‘ tall. This link gives information on growing these spectacular plants.
