Mandaville vines

(Question)

Does a mandaville vine grow back every year?

(Answer)

A Mandevilla Vine is a tender perennial and in our Canadian climate with cold winters, must be overwintered indoors. This means that when the temperatures drop below 15 C, it needs to be brought inside. Isolate it at first to check for insect pests, cut it back by at least 1/3 and then place it in indirect sunlight, water it thoroughly when dry and put it backout when the temperature is once again consistently above 15C. You can enjoy those gorgeous flowers for many years.
