Thank you for contacting Toronto Master Gardeners.

Your purchases sound wonderful, what great additions to the garden.

All of them are hardy in our zone. The temperature may not be a limiting factor for you; it will be warmer in a couple of days.

Your soil should be considered. When working soil in the spring or any time, it is important not to dig too early. If your soil is cold and wet you will breakdown the precious aggregates in your soil which ensure good water and nutrient retention.

Always garden when the soil has dried out and is easy to work. This will give you the best results.

Good luck with your purchases.
