I have spots on my Japanese Maple leaves in addition to some leaves which are withered. I assume the latter is due to not enough water.
Please advise me re the cause of the spots and if there is a remedy.

We receive numerous questions regarding Japanese maples. From your photo the white spots on your leaves appear t be signs of Powdery Mildew. One of our earlier posts on Wilting Leaves on Japanese Maple list treatment options for this fungal disease.
