Hello! This is a very popular and lovely indoor tree! The latin name for this tree is Ficus benjamina and the common name is Weeping Fig. This tree likes to have indirect light, which means it does not like direct sunlight but prefers a north facing window. In the winter it would be a good idea to mist it regularly as it likes humidity and if your house is like mine the environment can get quite dry in cold weather. The tree may start to drop leaves if it is too dry. It also likes to keep it’s roots close to water but not soaking in it. Great choice! I have attached a link from the Royal Horticultural Society that will give you detailed descriptions of what this plant likes and dislikes.
Hope you get a chance to enjoy this tree!
