Toronto Zone 6A vines

(Question)

Hello I live in little India around Coxwell and Gerrard St. I am wondering which zone I live and what kind of vine I should plant to cover and decorate an old antique bed frame that I just put in my back yard. I want it to flower and for it to be a perennial.

My house faces west and my east-facing long and narrow backyard has both full sun and some shade.

You are in Zone 6a according to Canada’s Plant Hardiness Site https://www.planthardiness.gc.ca/?m=22&lang=en&prov=Ontario&val=T

Late spring, summer and autumn flowering clematis, wisteria, silver lace vine, honeysuckle and climbing hydrangea would all be good perennial flowering vine choices for you.
