Toronto Master Gardeners will answer gardening questions at the Soupalicious event taking place from noon to 4 pm on September 28 at Artscape Wychwood Barns, 601 Christie Street. The event is organized by Plant a Row, Grow a Row, a campaign that builds on the long-standing tradition of gardeners loving to share their harvest with others. It is a people-helping-people program in which gardeners assist in feeding the hungry in their own communities by donating their surplus produce.
Soupalicious provides a great opportunity to learn more about this initiative as well as the efforts of many other like-minded partners, such as the Compost Council of Canada, Artscape, Foodland Ontario, Toronto LiveGreen, to name a few. It is also great opportunity to get your gardening questions answered by Master Gardeners. And, you get to try the many delicious chef-made soups on offer.
