A joint project of the City of Toronto and LEAF, the Young Urban Forest Leaders (YUFL) Program is designed to provide young women with hands-on experience in the field of urban forestry and community engagement. This unique five month program includes 20 hours of formal arboriculture training, additional project-specific workshops and ongoing mentoring.
Applicants must be femaleidentified, aged 18-24 and live in the City of Toronto.
There is an information session on Saturday, March 18, 10AM to 12PM at Metro Hall, 55 John St, Toronto.
The application deadline is Friday March 31.
