Thank you for contacting Toronto Master Gardeners. The shrub in the photograph is a weigela ‘Florida Variegata’. Weigela ‘Florida Variegata’ is a small deciduous shrub with pink funnel flowers and green leaves edged in creamy white. They prefer sun or partial shade and tolerate a range of soil types. The article Weigela shrub care and growing tips by Chris Briggs in Horticulture Magazine gives helpful information about these lovely shrubs.
