My Hibiscus has grown quite wild and I want to find out if there is anything that you can recommend to bring it back to a proper size and actually flower again.
Will pruning and transplanting help?
Is this the proper time to do this?

Thank you for contacting Toronto Master Gardeners.
You clearly are maintaining your Hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) well, evident in its luxuriant foliage growth. The Toronto Master Gardener archive contains an excellent response to a similar question posed to our webpage, and the link within will fully answer your question as well as provide further information on fertilizing and root pruning. In the sidebar, under Hibiscus Care, click on “pruning” to take you to the appropriate page.
Given your success with this plant, you may wish to propagate several clones from your cuttings, and here’s how.
We wish every success with pruning, and possibly propagating, your robust Hibiscus.
