This plant was donated to our greenhouse on campus. I am not sure what kind of succulent it is and I’ve tried identification apps, but they don’t come up with the same plant.

The succulent shown on your picture belongs to genus Aptenia. All species of Aptenia are native to Southern Africa. From this picture, it is very difficult to discern important details such as flower structures, growing habit (grow rate, sun exposure). We can assume that the plant is one of the following:
- Aptenia lancifolia
- an hybrid between Aptenia cordifolia and Aptenia haeckeliana
- a cultivar of Aptenia cordifolia commonly named Baby sun rose,
