Leaves are curling downward, why?
Dear gardener, I am sure you are very stressed about your magnolia tree’s leaves curling down.
It seems that this is a common problem with magnolia trees that can have many causes including: your tree is very young and the roots have not established themselves very well, the tree is being attacked by pests, the tree is dehydrated due to the spring drought we have had , or the leaves have been inadvertently sprayed with herbicides. I do hope it is not the latter since the effect of herbicides cannot be reversed.
