Mysterious flower-Clarkia

(Question)

I live in Toronto. I planted this flower from a seed bomb. I don’t know what it is. It is growing in full sun in a flower box. I don’t know what kind of flower it is.
Thank you for your assistance.

Your plant is an annual called Clarkia or Godetia   There are several varieties, however I would suggest yours is likely Clarkia amoena, commonly called Satin or Garland flower.

It is commonly seeded in wildflower gardens and makes a wonderful cut flower.  Seeds are available from most seed companies.  Best to plant straight into the garden when the soil warms in the late spring, just as you have done with your seed bomb.

Enjoy these beautiful annuals!
