Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions.
1) Is there any device I can buy that will tell me the amount of sun individual spots in my garden get (I am not home most of the day and I am unsure how blocked they are)?
2) I am attempting to grow a watermelon, I have tried before and failed. Do you have any tips?

Thank you for contacting Toronto Master Gardeners. Yes there are devices that can measure sunlight- if you search on line you will find several options there.
