Fruit Tree Spray*

(Question)

Have been using Wilson’s fruit tree spray-no longer available-what can be used as an alternative for apple & pear trees?
Thanks, Hugh

While the Master Gardeners do not endorse any specific product or company, a quick online search at a major nursery here in Toronto revealed that the product you are looking for is available.  If you are not in the city, why not contact your local nursery as I am sure they would carry dormant oils for apple and pear trees.  It should be noted that dormant oils are applied before the tree leafs out as the spray could damage newly emerging buds.  If you have not already applied the oil, you may have missed your window as a temperature of 0 degrees celsius is required for at least 24 hours.
