Our lawn is being sprayed with Fiesta Weed Control tomorrow morning. How long should we wait before reseeding bare spots?
Hello, thank you for contacting the Toronto Master Gardeners with your question about reseeding your lawn. It is not our practice to encourage herbicide use (weed killer) instead we promote environmentally safe practices such as hand pulling, top dressing, and reseeding. Having said that I am not familiar with this particular weed killer so I cannot say for sure, but it is generally the rule to wait for at least 1 month prior to reseeding. Reseeding in the fall when cool wet weather is dependable is always a good idea.
